(www.arya-tv.com) At least 25 people were killed and more than 50 were injured in the attack on a military hospital in Kabul. A senior Taliban commander was also among the dead, according to the AFP news agency. A massive explosion took place near the entrance of the Sardar Muhammad Dawood Khan Military Hospital, Afghanistan’s largest military hospital.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the attack was carried out by several Islamic State members. It also included a suicide bomber who blew himself up at the gate of the hospital. Mujahid said a car loaded with explosives also exploded outside the hospital, wounding dozens and killing several Taliban fighters.
